Senior Software Engineer

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for designing the architecture that uses server generated web pages, with UI and data independent of each other
  • Use XML to design and Java/JSP/Servlets to implement the web pages
  • Design new modules using technology such as pre-fabrication of pages, data caching
  • Responsible for the research of new, cutting-edge technologies to improve existing Viador products

Requirements:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field. Must be proficient in the following skills:

  • Languages: C, C++, Java and XML
  • J2EE technologies: EJB, JDBC, Servlets and JSP
  • API programming and producing scalable, high performance, high quality code

Hours:
F/T, 40 hours per week

Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Duties:

  • As determined by an engineering manager, responsible for reviewing functional and design specifications to determine testing requirements and exit requirements for product release
  • While working under an engineering manager's direction, participate in designing, coding, and testing reviews
  • Duties include designing test scripts (manual and automated) based on functional specs and product requirements
  • Set up testing environment and execute functional, integration, configuration and performance testing

Requirements:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field. Must be proficient in the following skills:

  • Languages: JavaScript, HTML, and PL/SQL
  • Configuring different webservers and installing relational/multidimensional databases
  • J2EE technologies: EJB, JDBC, Servlets, and JSP
  • Working with BI tools to validate financial/business reporting requirements

Technical Support Engineer

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for providing programmer level support including escalated level code debugging, test case programming and bug fix
  • Responsible for analyzing and resolving technical issues for Viador engineers, customers and consultants
  • Duties include installing, configuring, testing and troubleshooting Viador’s suite of products at customer sites
  • Duties include defining and executing on-site Proof-of-Concepts to demonstrate Viador’s Portal software

Requirements:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field. Must be proficient in the following skills:

  • Languages: Servlets, JSP, ODBC and SQL
  • Configuring diffferent webservers and installing relational/multidimensional databases
  • Windows and Unix platforms
