Telemarketing Representative

Job Duties:

  • Find new customer opportunities through proactive cold-calling of a target account list
  • Set up meetings for the direct sales representatives based on agreed on criteria such as company size, location, business problem, etc
  • Update internal records with lead activity information
  • Build qualified sales prospect list to support overall company sales targets
  • Independent target account research
  • Support to presales and lead generation activities
  • Make 40 – 80 outbound calls per day

Qualifications:

  • Comfortable gaining the interest of business owners and executives, as well as IT staff
  • High energy, tenacity, and drive to succeed in sales environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 2+ years experience in outbound Telemarketing/ Lead Generation
  • Must be willing to start by 8 am to call East Coast/Midwest Accounts
  • Technical background, good understanding of software/database is a plus
  • Demonstrated abilities to use general business software including MS Word, Excel, Outlook email
  • Experience with start-up companies is a plus
  • Self-starter, creative approaches to achieve goals
  • Some college work, degree preferred

Hours:
F/T, 40 hours per week
