Here are some Viador8 screenshots for quick reference.

1. Below is the Viador8 Business Intelligence Suite login page. Please note that this can be by-passed as we now support Active Directory and SSO.

2. In the BI-Portal UI, Pages are listed on the left.  Open the BI Tools page to get a list of BI Tools published to a public folder called the BI Designers Channel:

6.  To create a report, select which data source to use, and then select one or more Tables.  Just select a table, or several, to move then to the "Selecteded Tables" list on the right side:

7.  Once you select tables, click on the Columns tab and select what you want to access:

 8.  To quickly verify that you are getting the data you expect, go to the Report tab, select a few break levels for the report, and click on Preview.

9. The result of clicking on Preview is a fully-functional drill-down report.  The top-level looks like this.

10. To create a data source, go to the Express Admin Page, and open UserAdmin:

11. Once in UserAdmin, click on the SQL Data Source tab, and follow the process outlined below:

12.  In Conclusion:

You can generate a report very quickly, and then come back into Design mode to control the format and output options.

You can also cut and paste functional and complex SQL into Report Designer using the SQL menu option.

The greatest strength of the V8 BI tools is the ability to work fast and generate lots of  reports and share then easily with peers and groups.
